UNOFFICIAL GUIDE TO LEGOLAND WINDSOR
Fairy Tale Brook
A gentle boat ride around a fairy tale fantasy land which small children will enjoy again and again and again and again...!
Scenes you will drift past include Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Fairy Tale Brook is located in Duplo Valley and has cute looking green boats which hold up to 4 people. The boats wind around a channel of water past figures - made from Lego, of course. Some of the figures move or make noises. Amongst others, look out for a number of Red Riding Hoods as she passes through the woods on various stages of her journey to Grandma's house, also watch out for the 3 little pigs (will the wolf manage to blow their houses down?!), Sleeping Beauty and the 3 billy goats gruff.
Watch a video of some of the boats take the first few turns in the channel as they start their Fairy Tale Brook journey:

The channel the boats pass along contains pumped water - that and a slight downhill drop are what pushes you along. The drop is compensated for at the end by a ramp which grabs each boat and lifts it by half a metre or so, dropping you down a small but very bumpy ramp down into a higher stretch of water towards the end of the ride.
The queuing area contains some puzzles and features again based on fairy tales. You can take buggies in to the queue - there is a buggy park area just before you get on the ride. The music on this ride is quite hypnotic.
The little ones in your party will really love this gentle ride.
Location: Duplo Valley.
