UNOFFICIAL GUIDE TO LEGOLAND WINDSOR
Raft River Racers
Raft River Racers was called Extreme Team Challenge until 2013.
Something very different to the normal theme park fodder. Raft River Racers is a fast water chute ride. There are 2 chutes, yellow and blue. You climb in to an inflatable dinghy at the top of the ride. 2 people can travel in each dinghy and so a total of 4 people can ride at the same time - the front rider sits between the legs of the person behind you.
When Raft River Racers is cleared of the previous riders at the bottom, the operator presses a button which lifts up the platform on which your dinghy is sitting. Soon the boat slips down on to the chute and you are off on a fast and wet ride. The chutes twist right and left on the way down. The ride is fast, furious and wet but short.

You will get wet on this ride, even if only from sitting in the wet dinghy. Something to consider if it's a bit chilly - don't do Raft River Racers early in the morning if you are going to have trouble getting dry that day.
Raft River Racers was called Extreme Team Challenge until 2013. We always thought the name of this ride was a bit odd. It's not really an extreme ride and there's no teamwork involved either. The name Raft River Racers actually seems like a better fit to us. It was renamed during the Duplo Valley update of 2013.
Location: Duplo Valley.
